Real Emotion can be tricky. How do we define real emotion? If there is such a thing wouldn’t that mean there has to be un-real or false emotion? So many questions and so many different views, what to do? What to do? Some people say emotions are on a scale of good to bad emotions… Some say they are neither good-bad, right-wrong… Some people let emotion rule them and run their lives… Some use emotion instead of letting it use them… Some say emotions are like a storm that goes through to clean out the system… but what makes them real?
On this site we have lots of articles on emotions many are listed here emotions and how to control them. Let’s look at this from a structural point of view. Structurally an emotion is a body sensation, a kinesthetic body feeling that has a meaning attached to it. The meaning does not necessarily have to be correct. It does however make the emotion feel true for you. If something feels true then it feels real. Unless we begin to question the truth of it and that is where the question of real or un-real emotion comes in. The First Forgotten Fundamental of Life let’s us know ‘The Individual is the Meaning Maker’. Without you, the individual, nothing has a meaning. You are the Meaning Maker. The individual (you or I) does not have to believe anything, but… whatever we do believe will become our individual PRECIEVED and FELT reality. Ultimately each one of us determine what true, real or false and that includes emotion as well. Even if someone else says it is true, it isn’t true for you until you accept it as true or real. Until you accept something as real, for you it is not real. I am not saying that there are not consequences to things, there are but for you and your experience of what is real you have total control over that. In fact the only thing that each of have control over is our own personal experience because we get to determine the meaning of each experience. Here is the offer: |
